Has anyone used E6000 on Spruce? I have a new tube and I would like to use it on my rosette and some binding! I was just wondering if there are any reports with E6000 staining spruce or glue line creeping? If there is any uncertainty about the product being use with spruce, I will buy some Duco craft cement.

As near as I can tell it's a rubber-based craft glue. I would not use it on a guitar; primarily because I know nothing about it and there are too many choices that are already well suited for the task.

Any scrap to try it on? I've not heard of it either.
Good luck.

I wouldn't risk it, since there are lots of well-tested glues that you know won't be a problem. Remember if you decide to use CA, to shellac the channel first so spruce end-grain doesn't soak it up and discolor.

Thank you for the replies! I will definitely use a more popular adhesive for the task at hand!
